Trek Mountain Bikes and a Great Bking Event

As always, Britains many mountain biking aficionados love getting together to share their views on the latest bikes, have a go on some of them and have some good food and drink at the same time. It is very good news then that there will soon be a great biking event where attendees could win one of Trek mountain bikes’ new bikes, all hosted by the UK’s first official cycling city, Bristol.

Mudstock, as it has been dubbed, is a festival which will last two days and which forms a part of a series of events spread over two weeks to promote cycling and to celebrate the sport and bikes in general in Bristol. Bristol has gone made for bikes, since being given Cycling City status.The award gave the city large grants to improve facilities for cycling in the city as well as promoting the sport for its health and environmental benefits.

At Mudstock, attendees will be able to enjoy demonstrations of the latest Trek mountain bikes, amongst others. Group rides for every ability level will also be taking place. Another part of the event will be talks by respected mountain biking figures which are likely to prove popular.

The event, which has no entry charge, isn’t aimed at any specific ability level. Whether you’re a beginner or you’ve got years of experience under your belt you are welcome. For beginners, the event is the perfect chance to learn a bit more about their hobby. It is also a great time to stock up on biking equipment because some brands will be selling discounted products. There is even a raffle with a top prize of a £500 bike donated by Trek mountain bikes.
